This is exquisite (I hope I spelt that correctly), and I love the colours you used. This, by far, is one of the nicest skins of the day. If this skin was made based on Masquerade in POTO, then I have nothing more to say than wow.

A well made skin that truly deserves 5 stars!

Thanks for the comments. I have watched the Masquerade scene in the POTO as well and I fully agree with your description of it.

Honestly, I didn't take the show into consideration when I made this layout. I actually didn't even notice it till you mentioned it!

What drew me to the lyrics was how many people could actually relate to the words "Hide your face so the world will never find you." They're so many people who aren't being honest to their surroundings in the blogsphere. After I made this, I actually had someone personally thank me for it as it portrays exactly how he felt and what he was typing about in his blog.

i agree with Zone_out. Masquerade was one of the grandest songs in Phantom of the Opera, but i like ur skin =)

It's really really beautiful in it's own right. The picture is marvellous.

However (please don't chop off my head after I say this), Masquerade is a song full of grandeur, magnificence -- a fine balance between passion, elegance and mystery. I find that passion and colourful-ness left out a little (I have wathced that scene you know, so I'm not making empty comments), save for that huge feathered plume from the mask... otherwise this is a beautiful skin...

But still, intepretation to that particular song and scene is strictly personal. If i judge this based on design technique, I must say you are extremely talented.

I hope you would except my comments with dignity. I'm sick of great designers falling short of respecting other people's comments. No matter how great their works are, I would never rate them.
