eh...i like the idea behind it, but i think it'll be easier on the eyes if the section for entries is larger, clearer and not obstructed by the black of the chinese word. Pretty good nonetheless.

lovely...and it has a generous amount of space..why not try it with other patterns such as stars? Just a suggestion..but I think it'll look REAL nice if it wasn't so 'heart-y' cos personally I'm not much of a heart person...overall gd job!
