I love the main picture you used but..

I agree with you on the messy part.
I think that you shouldn't have put too many dashed borders together cos the outcome won't be that pretty.
Also.. I think you kinda overdid on the star brushes.
& the animated "It's love" thing doesn't really fit for me.

There's a lot of room for improvement in terms of positioning, brushwork & the whole layout itself.

Sorry if this sounds harsh. I tried to make it as constructive as I could though.
