I think this layout is lovely! The colours match perfectly and are used throughout the layout. I beg to differ with x.Lockandk-ey and say the patterned bar in the middle is great. It makes the layout less plain and adds interest. Also love the gradient background. Wonderful job with the cats too! Super job, really

Very nice and simple layout. Yes, maybe a splash of colour, say, in the CSS could work. I suggest a bit of the pink from the image? Maybe even just a pink underline in the title or something. Nicely done, can't wait for the movie!

Just some constructive criticism:

The words at the top ( "tell me you wont give up" etc ) are a little skewed. It looks a little squashed because Courier New and other similar typefaces can sometimes have really shoddy letter spacing, especially when set on bold.

The magnifying glass is great, but it could be of higher image quality - it is a little pixellated and grainy.

I do like the blend of images within the magnifying glass. The colour really pops out against the black and white of the rest of the layout

Overall, a really good effort and congratulations again!

I suggest you make the blogging area match with the background.
That said, the background is overly repetitive, which makes it a bit distracting when trying to read blog posts. Maybe keep scrolling marquee text to a minimum to prevent dizziness?
Other than that, the CSS is pretty nice.
