credit the source of the picture. its a must for all base pictures you did not create yourself.

blend the picture into the background, and you should do up the space for the entries and stuff so that it'll look nicer.

this is too pixalleted. dont stretch it so much. and, dont use white colour for the font as it will be a little hard to see. the picture should blend into the background too. nice try, you can do better next time.

you should have done sth to the pictures, for eg, editing them and putting them on a straight line and then put a white border around it or sth.

there should be a picture of sweets or something, and then adding the words on the picture where it wouldnt block the main theme. the words on the picture shouldnt be so big, however. and, the box for the blog posts isnt on the same "line" as the others. i dont know if you purposely made it this way, but its alright.

i would have preferred if the picture blended into the background, and i feel that the boxes should not be on the picture as this will sort of "block" the picture, which isnt very nice.

you could have tried giving the picture a border too, and put it at the top while the boxes are all below the pic.
