but now, i've got some tips. for the newbies and the others in case someone drops by here.

to the newbies, don't rip. trust me. you won't want to rip or else, suffer the consequences. make your own stuffs / get from deviantart or wherever but don't ever forget to credit. if you won't credit, it's like you are getting those stuff & act as if you made it.

to those who do not have photoshop (like me) but are desperate to make neat skins, you can still do it! you probably have MS paint. with a little creativity, tons of creative fonts & some artistic flair! some fonts look like pictures (particularly stars & hearts, whatever...) so those are a plus factors! the airbrush helps too. and also MS PowerPoint. trust me. you still have hope. : )

do comment on new skins! most people who receive comments try to look at your work & comment. you would certainly love that! *but don't be rude please, for pete's sake. everyone has feelings.*

browse skins once in a while to learn other styles that could improve your own.

and lastly...

be original! creativity & inspiration is needed. that's what the people are looking for.
