I also think the bg color for the text area is too bright. Maybe tone down the red abit. Cropping of the model is quite rough too. I don't know what tool you use, but I suggest zooming in (+100% maybe) and then only start cutting out the image. Other than those that I've mentioned, I think you're in the right direction. Just need to fix a little here and there. I'm sure you'll do better next time. =) Gambatte!
