I'd like a Christian skin using the following poem:
[Poem removed by administrator]
Yes, i know that it's a rather long poem and you don't have to include all of it, but that would be nice. I love this poem very very very very much, Maya Angelou is an amazing poet, and this conveys such an important message.
I'm not going to force anyone to make this skin, but this is simply a suggestion. thank you for your time. 8)

I received the following email today regarding this poem:
I’m sorry to inform you of a copyright infringement that has occurred on the Internet. I am the author of the poem, When I say, “I am a Christian” which is protected under copyright law, record # TX-5-064-953 in the United States Library of Congress. Unfortunately, someone has taken the liberty to revise the wording of the poem and then pass it through cyberspace. More recently, Maya Angelou’s name has been added to the altered version which has caused additional confusion for people who are trying to contact me for permission to publish in newsletters, bulletins, conference materials, etc. The accurate reading of the poem is as follows:
WHEN I SAY, "I AM A CHRISTIAN"
When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not shouting, "I’ve been saved!"
I'm whispering, "I get lost! That's why I chose this way"
When I say, "I am a Christian" I don't speak with human pride
I'm confessing that I stumble—needing God to be my guide
When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong
I'm professing that I'm weak and pray for strength to carry on
When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success
I'm admitting that I've failed and cannot ever pay the debt
When I say, "I am a Christian" I don't think I know it all
I submit to my confusion asking humbly to be taught
When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect
My flaws are all too visible but God believes I'm worth it
When I say, "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartache, which is why I seek His name
When I say, "I am a Christian" I do not wish to judge
I have no authority...I only know I'm loved

If you believe that the original wording of my poem is worthy of posting, you may gladly do so with my blessing. Otherwise, I’m asking that you kindly remove the version that you have on your site as it is a copyright infringement.
Thank you for understanding,
Carol Wimmer
