Now when people want to change their username, all they can do is delete their account, resubmit their skins, and let everything start over. This puts their skin stats at 0, removes old comments, and generally results in EVERYTHING being reset. The forum threads are also deleted.
However, if there was an option to change one's username in the account settings, people could change their username WITHOUT resetting all their skin statistics and deleting all their forum threads! So, what do you think of my suggestion? Sorry if this has been asked before!

yea, and make a facility to tell people the previous person's name.

yes i think we should do that too because sometimes after users change their username,they do not delete their acc,which hogs up the bandwith i suppose.so i guess it'd be better for Myles to introduce th function

I support this motion too.
Although people may take advantage of changing their usernames.
From what I've seen on GaiaOnline, they introduced a username changing function ..
Except the user is only allowed to change their name twice.
I think if Myles has doubts about changing usernames, this is the best way to go.
Just my suggestion.
