Could you make it so that the skin designer themselves dont download their own skin? They always cheat to get it on the top 10 downloaded. Also, can you make it possible for people to only download skins if theyre logged in? The first one would be the most helpful.

We can download our own skins??? Thats kinda scary. I dunno why anyone would do that. =[

I'm almost positive that downloading your own skin already doesn't count towards your total (and has been that way since the beginning), but I'll check.
I recently changed it so you didn't have to be logged in to download skins, because I want BlogSkins to be as easy to use as possible for new users, and forcing registration gets in the way.
However, I will consider not counting non-logged in downloads towards the totals. How's that?

I got another suggestion---you know the login thing in every page?Theres no "remember me"checkbox.pols fix it as soon as possible.

Ok, I verified that if logged in, authors downloading their own skins do not count as downloads at all. However, unauthenticated users do count as downloads. I am going to keep it that way for the download counts shown on the skin info pages (actually, I think I'll show 2 numbers there -- logged-in downloads and total), but for the purposes of showing up on the Top 10 Downloaded list, unauthenticated downloads will not count.

I should add that the changes to prevent unauthenticated downloads from counting on the Top 10 Downloaded list will not take effect until the next stats reset... which is in 2 days.
