hello hello.
I doubt anybody comes to this section,
but I'm suggesting a longer recent skins section, like, uh.
display more skins there, instead of just 10.
Anyone? x)

it's a good suggestion. but then i don't think it's necessary lol.
what should be done, by the users, is not to be selfish by reposting their skins, irritating by posting blank and spam skins etc.
If that could happen then I don't think there's a need to lengthen the recent skins section anymore.

i suggest that myles handpick a few admins, that can delete skins which they think deem not appropriate so that it can save some space in blogskins.com and to ensure quality in blogskins.com

Agreed.
Some of the blogskinners nowadays post blank skins. I don't see what is so funny about that. It just "pollutes" blogskins and also takes alot of space. Somehow, I see many people downloading blank skins sometime too... O_O
Rippers are also way useless. They rip other's skin and repost it just to attract attention, annoy, take space and claim credits. I don't see anything nice about that. (Hmmm... I'm an EX ripper. But I've mended my ways. Blogskins is a cool and nice place xD)
&madeline_tn I sorta agree with you about the "Increase Recent skins" part. Some people submit their skins when no one is around (But they didnt know) thus this decreases their chances of getting SOTD and their skin would be what I call "deserted."
Yea and people who like to look and vote others' skins also have to WAIT. Sooo wait wait and wait... Until a skin pops out.
And the "Pls rate my skin" has gotta stop.

but u cnt trust everyone..
let me give an example:
myles is looking for an admin.
person A wanted to be the admin so he could delete any skins that e person he has a grudge on made.
he did not add anyone as an enemy so that myles will think that person A is a very pleasant person and so person A would be chosen as an admin.
after being an admin person A acted very nice to all users for the first few months.
person B who was totally innocent (whom person A has a grudge on) got his skins deleted.
all his effort was gone. when myles found out about it, maybe it would be too late...
That was just what I thought.. but nt everyone is like that..
just those few black sheeps..
so maybe having an admin may be great depending on the advantage..
but seriously, u have to look at the disadvantage to..
so yeah, i spoke out what i had to..
hope that i did nt affect anyone\'s feeling through this story..
just like i said, this has got nothing to do with u innocent people out there..
just thought that maybe there are people who would really do that..
i think i will sign off now...

i agree on the admin thing, but the admin has got to be yea trustworthy and if one day in a fit of anger or smth the admin trash the whole bs.com then that would not be very nice...

yeah the admin thing is cool but you can't trust people you've never met for sure. in fact you can't trust anyone. hiding behind a computer and a name that ain't yours.
but the posting blank skins thing is just irritating to the core. i once saw a skin with NOTHING, NOTHING in it except a couple of random numbers. i mean, anyone can do a skin like that, in fact it AIN'T even a skin.
its just numbers -.-
by the way, Twinstarlights I totally agree with you about rippers. they copy the codes and everything and maybe just tweak one or two things, like the quotes (e.g. lotsa people use afterbirth's skins and change the quotes or pattern and thats all). nothing wrong with that but if you dont credit the base codes then that's mean of you.
ok i know i'm getting off point :/
oh well. about the longer section, as hysterically-weird said, it's great but not really necessary lah i think.

i dont want admins as hothouseviolets said you cant trust anyone.
and there will be more complaints like bu gan yuan etc.
and an admin has full rights to blogskins.com, so myles doesn't need to moderate blogskins.com as a job anymore.
and if you get too carried away as an admin a lot more problems can arise, like simply deleting skins just because you find it ugly.
so i totally disagree.

i think you should only delete skins that are totally blank or just numbers/words...
maybe if you don't wanna add admins (because you're not sure if you can trust them) myles could do smth like blogger beta (a bit irritating i must admit) and say smth like error:blablabla if some idiot tries to do that.
oh and maybe about the rippers thing. maybe (if there is such a thing) you could implement a system whereby it detects copies of a skin, thereby preventing the user to pass off someone elses skin as their own.
hmm i think you should convert the most recent skins section into skins submitted today section. but if its in the wee hours of the day i.e 12-8; it could display the most recent skins instead....
haha sorry myles for being abit demanding D:
if you're too busy or something or disagree or whatnot;
its okay...
hehe. ps if you don't get it...
