My dear,
there are TONS of people's skins which got better stats than yours and yet didn't get any sotd.
Just in case if you don't know, the SOTD skins are picked from a system.
I think there's a certain quota to go over before skins are being considered as SOTD. I don't know.
Myles, explain to us how it (the system) work. Will you?

so it just depends on one's luck(?) whether he/she gets SOTD or not.

1. Us humans are not 5-star generators. Even if someone gives your skin 5 stars doesn't mean they sincerely think it's that nice or perfect. I'd say, to hell with ratings. It's not an accurate measurement of the skins' quality, actually, because some bootlickers can be real hypocrites, spilling 5-star ratinngs all around for the sake of gaining a little reputation for themselves.
2. Accept criticism. They can be really constructive and will be able to assist you in producing exceptionally good skins.
3.Don't rip. It's plagiarism. Also, no one will really condemn you if you use other's images and codings, but please credit them properly and adequately. It's basic courtesy and respect for the creators and artists.
4. Don't get too caught up in your desire for fame and recognition. What you long for will arrive in due time, when you deserve it. Continue making skins, and continue to improve, to discover new styles, and eventually you will find those that suit you and people shall love you! xD
