CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
1. Relevance to theme, which is undecided currently - 25
2. Emotional appeal/Meaning (meaningful lyrics) - 20
3. Must flow with the beat (I'm not restricting you to any beat, or rhythm) - 30
Absolutely no: I live in America
and I'm buying a double cheeseburger at Macdonald's
4. Proper format (Must have all the parts of a song in it, that means) - 25
- Chorus
- Verses
- Bridge
Any other parts (rap, etc.) are optional.
All songs must be more than 100 words (including repetition)!
If you sing, you get 5 extra points under the classification of 'EFFORT', which is not counted under normal circumstances.

RULES
1. No stealing other songs' lyrics. You will be banned, immediate effect.
1.1 Not even one line.
1.2 No translation of a song to another and posting it as your one. That's basically still ripping it.
2. No racist, sexist (hmph) or other -cist remarks, either implied or blatant, in your song.
2.1 Preferably no vulgar words.
3. You do not need to sing. If you want to sing, add me @ nature_fiona@hotmail.com (other judges, by the way, must add me!) for a live demonstration via microphone.
3.1 If you really want to sing for the extra points but do not hold possession of a microphone, take a video and upload to Youtube, then post the link together with your lyrics. : D
4. You must post the lyrics BEFORE the deadline. Your submission will be considered void if you infringe upon this highly vital rule!
5. Submit 2 songs AT MOST.

Eh how come the competition starts now when we haven't even chosen our theme and language. LOL
I think it's better to make it English-based. It's kinda racist to think that why Malay and Tamil couldn't be voted for too. So it's best either you make it fully English-based or bring all the 4 official languages in LOL.

I'm having discussions with a judge about the issue, and we've both agreed on EITHER.

We-ll, yes repentance can be used for heartbreak too. That's why we chose it, because it was flexible : )
