hello every one. the competition is not associated with chewing gums at all, jsut that i couldnt think of a name for the competition. anyway, after quite some time of finding photos and the permission, i have successfully seeked the permission. the five photos are very nice, and i hope nobody will abuse the rights of anyone's.
THE CHEWING GUMS COMPETITION.
starts: 04JUNE2008 6pm singapore time.
ends: 27JUNE2008 10pm singapore time.
about: from the five photos that i have provided you, make a blogskin,
of any theme that you can think of, because this is supposed to be about
your creativity and originality.
Rules.
1. You MUST credit daifuku.sensei at this link www.missioncomplete.ca/wiki/index.php
2. You can only enter one blogskin for this competition.
3. You must credit whatever resources you use, or you will be disqualified.
4. You have to use at least two out of the five photos.
5. You can use other images (plus at least two of the five) but remember to credit.
Information.
1. Whether you attained SOTD or not does not make a difference in this competition.
2. Submit your blogskin url here, with the name of the skin, and your username.
3. Only one submission, if you submit two or more, only the latest skin counts.
4. Marks allocation is as follows,
Suitability of Codes:5marks.
Design: 10marks.
Effort(the quality.): 5marks.
Total: 20marks.

yes. and i DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO DOWNLOAD THE IMAGES AND SUBMIT THE BLOGSKIN BUT NOT FOR THIS COMPETITION. BECAUSE THE PERMISSION I'VE GOT FOR THE PHOTOS IS ONLY FOR THIS COMPETITION, NO OTHER USES. THIS IS TO RESPECT THE PHOTOGRAPHER.

Must you come up with your own codes or is using other blogskinner's basecodes(will be creditted, of course!) allowed?

you can come up with your own codes for more effort marks.
or i allow you to use basecodes from my pullthetrigger account but you have to credit.
or you can use other people's basecodes but you need to credit them and make sure they let you.

RulePlay: Look above again, huiting said you just need to use MINIMUM 2 out the 5 pictures.
I think you can get to edit them, cause it'll really be pointless if you just paste the photo there. But please check with huiting cause I'm not too sure. (oh dear I'm such a lousy judge :x)

Hi everyone.. I am the photographer behind the photos provided by Seisha, whom has been very kind to respect my wishes of them only being used for the blogskin competition.
There's some great stuff here.. while I'm entirely new to this, hopefully I can provide more source images in the future. I'm not one to toot my own horn, but if you like the photos check out my Flickr page. I look forward to seeing what you guys create with these, and I would love some credit to my Flickr page!
