how to get good grades for PSLE ?? ( okay i know this is a stupid question but i need some tips !! ) THANKS !

Mug throughout the whole of the holidays.
Srsly mugging is the only way to learn-understand-score -_-

hmm,yea but if you have the PSLE book,sth like th ten year series,you can identify common questions.and understand-not memorise- how to do them.
p/s:this is additional step to mugging.
and,oh,practice is good too.esp fr maths.

buy 2 assesment books.
then do finish it by like last day of june hols.
then from there buy those pass exam papers and stop doing.

study 1hr, play com 1hr . . . . . .

i don't think 2 months before still can play comp though.......my target for PSLE is 245 above !

errrr.
just practice more for ya weaker subjects
like a suck in chinese and science
then i do lots of chinese and science assestment / testpapers
i think you shld get other sch testpapers.... cus PSLE ones might be easyeasy xD
also oral helps lots in the languages so yeah score high for oral will def help for languages 
u shld also read through the guidebooks esp for science and math
then you can summarise the info so u can recall easier
actually if u can help it try to understand, dont just try to recall unless your memory is super-good, lol
but also relax larhh
like i mug in sch (do homework during recess & lunch & pay attention during lessons)
then i come home playcomp and do assestments only in tuition -_-
dont follow my example tho, just saying u hv to relax too
( i got 254 ): wanted higher tho )
or else later you too stressed and cant give your full potential in PSLE
oh and PSLE will be easier than ur sch exams !

i used to suck in chinese , but my chinese did improve now. my maths used to suck then it really made a trmendous improvement and now it has deproved...( my maths coiuld have gotten better though , ) +_+ currently , my maths and science sucks... the PSLE will be easier than my sch ?
wow cool !! hahas , your score so high !! if i can get that score , who knows how happy i can be . XD
i don't usually do h/w during recess though...the time not enough...hahas. thanks im sure this might help. ((:

Don't watch tv or use the computer (unless in desperate times)
Basically just live in the studying world and be a nerd for that few months before PSLE.

dont worry about maths cus schools like to set real hard maths paper with so many speed questions that no one rly knows how to do and nearly can't be finshed.
just dont fail anything... i think you will be safe for PSLE if you score 65 and above for every subject
cus rmb its the WHOLE SINGAPORE P6 TAKING
wait, i think PSLE maths was kinda hard last yr
but it's easier than school exams for me.
i started from the back to the front and had lots of time before it ended..
errrr but dont try this unless you are confident in maths !

i also heard a rumour saying that the papers difficulty have a pattern
like if last year chinese = easy
this year chinese = hard
not sure if its real tho....
to be safe yeah just study everything !
but i see lotsa blogskinners scoring high... above 250...
yeah and minstry of education most of the time sets easy stuff
they came to my school last time and handed out a chinese test for survey thingy
then IT WAS SO MUCH EASIER THAN MY SCHOOL EXAMS !

Well,i slacked and then i ended up with results that suck.

set a timetable and follow?
haha my timetable was like study 2h and then slack for 15mins.
but in the end it didn't work cause i dont follow timetables. i followed it for only like one week then i just slacked all the way. no points to guessing how my results were-.-

i don't know how i studied for PSLE. mostly the thing is i'd study and then relax. getting good grades is all about relaxing.  i didn't study that much though. my friend knew someone who studied like mad and stressed herself out only to get a quite low PSLE score. so must learn to relax! but still have to mug, PSLE you have to MUG one. yea and math they sure give IQ questions one lor. i left the last two questions blank last time. so try to work hard for the rest of the paper/papers. anyway, just don't blankly mug. must mug cleverly. the best thing to do is to narrow down ALL the important points and study them first. then at least you'll get the basic right before attempting others

and oral definitely helps, and listening! haha.

lols. to be honest, you have to know your character very well. will you follow a timetable? if you dont, there's no point setting a very strict one cause at the end, you'll just be so behind schedule you'll give up on your timetable.
so plan according to your own pace and studying ability. and there's no point studying for hours on end cause your brain will just be so tired it can't absorb anything.
oh and apparently, exercise helps in some way or the other.
so maybe do some sports :X for relaxation then study.
and don't allow yourself to play comp games and watch tv. at the most, pick one and limit your time. for me the best way is to just slam shut my laptop and push it to the side of my table then dig out all my stuff.
but of course, this doesn't always work.  i procrastinate too much...
i was playing maple after my psle exams each day o.O which was just bad. but that was in like 2005 and i was like... maple-obsessed. heh.

then wash up then start studying!
you'll find ur brain all cleared up&energetic = easier to absorb things.

come home and read and study
sure ace it one
obviously must do assessment books also. and yep maths is practice practice and practice!

just when wake up, study.
when afternoon, eat yr lunch and play comp for an hour or so.
then at night, read notes/do the more relaxing study.

I got lowest in class twice in a row for maths and sciencelast year,but psle I got straight As,
so this time methinks english and chinese would be more difficult,cause last year's maths and science is horrible.so yeah.k.goodluck,stop reading what i type.its bull.

Language, just read more and speak more. You have no idea how much it works.
And love your work. Really.

The standard answer: study hard.
But honestly,
when I was a Primary 6 student, I didn't study at all.
I just did my homework and listened in class.
And that's how I ended up in CGS.
LOL.
I think consistency is the key to good grades.
No point cramming your brain with Math the day before the exam.
Even starting one month before will not be much help.
As you begin secondary school life,
you will find that everything changes drastically.
More subjects, more homework, more co-curricular activities, everything.
If you're not consistent with your work, you can kiss your A1s goodbye (75 marks and above).
But for now, just be glad that you're still in Primary school and study hard.
Practice loads of Math, understand Science and read both English and Chinese books.
Everyone has a brain good enough to reach the sky so make full use of it.
After the PSLE, go crazy ;]

Look through your old worksheets and past examination and test papers so that you'll know what you don't know, then you ask your teachers or friends about those. Make sure you take your preliminary examinations seriously too.

once you get nervous and say something wrong & that's it.
it's easy to get careless when you're nervous.

to --INEFFABLE.♥ : omg , u only got B before ONCE ?! i think u can reach ur target le. LOL.
yeah if im nervous , i cannot think. my maths got really low..cause during the exam i was having a really bad flu and i was really nervous..that's why i only got a lowwww score of 50 something ! argh.

Study, study, study.
What I did: the past years PSLE exam papers, I bought them twice.
One for Jan - Feb
One for school
Past year papers, do as much as possible. Finish them all. Learn from your mistakes. But do each one of them v. carefully. Or it wont help.
P.S. Dont learn from me. I PSLE that time still watching Naruto. LOL.

try to stay away frm the com as much as you can
during the PSLE period
would be better if you stayed away frm it at the start of prelim period
computers are very good distractions
I only didnt touch the com when I was taking the PSLE
or maybe one week befpre
which still didnt prompt mii to study that much
but it did helped alittle
and past year papers doesnt help mii much
that's why I dun buy them
unless teacher asks for them of course
thus I only got 227
: /
well,
at least I didnt had any tution at all
not school supplementary but outside tution
they dun help mii at all
and thus I'm still not having them now
but seriously,
PSLE aint of much use anyway
some of my friends who are suppose to win mii in PSLE
since they're better in studies than I am
got lower than mii in PSLE
but are doing very well for studies now
better than I am at least
so it aint accurate AT ALL
and getting good grades for PSLE only helps for one thing
that is getting into a good school
that's an important thing
if you got low for yur PSLE
dun think that you're lousy
coz it's totally inaccurate
work harder for yur secondary life
that's so much more important
to: thesockparody.
