Hate threads

This may not stop hate threads from popping up every once in a while but I hope this makes people think twice about whether to press that blue "post" button, especially if you're 15 and above.

Don't give those adults who call preteens/teenagers mere children a reason to continue calling us children. Just because we're young doesn't mean we cannot possibly have the mental capacity to think beyond our age. When they say age is only a number, it doesn't only apply to adults who need to relax, it can also apply to us preteens/teenagers.

We're called young adults for a reason; we're supposed to learn how to behave and think as an adult. Growing up is all about self discovery and learning from our experiences, whether it's the hard way or the easy way. As a community we should be trying to help people learn the easy way whatever we learnt the hard way just so that they don't need to go through the pain we did cos we were young and foolish. We shouldn't be bashing each other mindlessly without helping them learn from their mistakes, especially if we were once guilty of that mistake.

It's disconcertingly hypocritical to see people who flame anonymous detractors on their friends' blogs and turn around and bitch about others anonymously, whether on their own blogs or on another platform (i.e. the forums).

Also, to those targeted in any hate threads: Maybe it's time to reflect on potential reasons regarding why people are flaming you on the world wide web. Even if the hate thread simply says you suck without giving any reasons, maybe you can pause and think about how you've behaved in the community, see whether there's been any cause for hatred.

In short, what I'm trying to say is this:
You make the choice whether you want to be completely immature and hide behind anonymity or act according to your age and tell the people CONSTRUCTIVELY via Blogskins mail. You make the choice whether you want to change yourself for the better or remain the way you are until something drastic forces you to regret and change. No one wants to see another sweetpurity fiasco.

PROMOTE your own blog/skin/blogshop etc.

Ideas for outings/gatherings with friends?

So I'm an icon maker at livejournal and I've noticed a shitload of ~blogskin makers~ using our icons while hotlinking them and not even with credit. Is this how you guys work? Make use of other people's hard work and then scream at others who use your codes without crediting? I must say that I am very disappointed and highly disgusted by you.

Hi all, it has been a long time since I have contributed to the community here. I realised that many of you may have left or have been inactive in the community. Although I regret to admit that I have been too busy to create new skins, I would like to extend my service by sharing this self-initiated project of mine.

My objective is to redesign Blogskins and create a refreshing, new look for the community. These are some examples of how the pages are structured. Also, a new feature such as "who is online" is also introduced so as to instill more interactivity between the users of the community.

My aim is not to demand a change, but only to share my visuals for the benefit of the community.

First thing I would like to say, this is NOT a flame thread or whatever.
I would just like to appeal to all blogskinners, some of your attitudes really suck.
Seriously, I really hate all of your comments and your rude comments.
Wait, lemme give you'll a self introduction first.
I'm a noob blogskinner, so there, and this is my 2nd account.
I would also like to appeal to the more pro blogskinners, some of you are really "rude" to those noob ones, and you kinda "ignore" them and only talk to those pro ones.
And yes, I would like to specially mention 2 blogskinners, who I hate their attitudes.

I cannot believe how bitchy I am. I need help so here's my story :(

X is my goodfriend's friend and I knew him through facebook and MSN. X and I talked quite a lot. Stayed up late till midnight during schooldays to talk and stuff. When I knew him, I was trying to get over someone I liked alot and I talked to him for a breather or something :o. Surprisingly that time, he dumped his girlfriend too or something like that and he was emo-ing over blahblahblah.
Thing is, during the past half a year knowing him, he has been trying to attract attention and finding topics to talk. But the things he talk about is forever about love. He ALWAYS TALK and for most of the time he will start to wallow in self pity!!! At first I was really trying to... Help? But it gets tiring.

Because its in MSN, I always try to be nice. BUT WHATS WITH GUYS WALLOWING IN SELF PITY AND STUFFSSSSSSSSSSS. Tell me what to do. He needs a wake up call somehow. I have difficulties ending convos with him in MSN too.
